Exhibition on line nothing but the truth Lottie and Elijah
They say a man ain't supposed to cry,
So as men we keep so much inside until we die,
Do you feel my tears as I’m crying now?
I’m pouring my heart out to you,
I’m man enough to tell you that I’ll cry to you.
My tears are in your hands,
With each stroke of me pen my tears soak the paper,
As I express myself with each word.
So those are my tears overrunning in your hands.
Why should I hold all this inside,
My pains, struggles, fears and pride
Since I can’t shed tears when I want to be heard,
I shed my tears through words,
I don’t understand when it comes to a man,
Tears are forbidden,
But a wise man once said tears are words
that need to be written.
