Pam, UK
Pam is 70. She is old enough to
remember being desperately upset
when the last woman in England,
Ruth Ellis, was hanged in the 1950s.
She also saw a moving documentary,
Fourteen Days In May. She says:
I’ve been a friend of Larry Rush
for many years, and I don’t
think I’ve ever known anybody
fight so tenaciously and
courageously to establish
his innocence. A lesser person
would have simply given up
by now, because Death Row
is not an easy place from which
to carry out such a monumental
struggle. Larry has been
crying out for years now for help,
both legal and financial, but in
the meantime he’s doggedly
been working on his appeal as
a self-taught lawyer.
In fact, he’s gone a step further,
and is helping others in the same
situation on the Row. He’s a good friend,
and I admire him immensely.
Please help him.
He needs all the help he can get.
